Ruibang Technology is located in the Suqian base of Shenghong, which is another major industrial base of Shenghong outside Lianyungang. Ruibang Technology is one of the leading enterprises in the domestic recycled polyester industry, and a subsidiary established by Shenghong for the layout of low-carbon green industries. The project is also an important part of Shenghong's three major industrial bases.
Recycled fiber, also known as regenerated fiber, refers to the fiber produced by melting, spinning and other processes using recycled waste polyester (PET) materials and waste textile materials, which has typical green environmental protection properties. Its raw materials mainly include waste polyester bottle flakes, foam materials and recycled chips.
Due to the concept of circular economy, in recent years, a number of internationally renowned sports, fast fashion and other brands have increasingly favored recycled fibers. The rapid increase in market demand has supported the rapid development and growth of my country's regenerated fiber industry and a number of leading enterprises.
The Ruibang technology project was launched in June 2020, aiming at the green market of recycled polyester, using waste plastic bottles as raw materials to produce high-quality recycled polyester filaments, and provide customers with various types of traceable recycled fibers. The first phase of the 250,000-ton unit will be put into operation in October 2021.
"The company uses the world's leading German Barmag and Japanese TMT equipment, which is the basis for high-quality recycled polyester." Kong Wenlong introduced.
It is worth noting that Shenghong took the lead in realizing the melt direct spinning production of recycled polyester in my country.
"The process of recycled polyester filament was from bottle flakes, slicing to spinning before, but we have realized direct spinning with bottle flakes, which not only ensures quality, but also reduces production costs." Kong Wenlong introduced.
In this regard, an industry insider pointed out: "With the entry of large-scale polyester leaders like Shenghong into the recycled fiber industry, the technological progress and large-scale development of the recycled polyester industry has been accelerated. Previously, the recycled polyester filament industry was dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises. , the production capacity of most companies ranges from tens of thousands of tons to hundreds of thousands of tons, but after Shenghong entered, the recycling industry has accelerated toward high-quality and large-scale development.”
At present, 8 production lines of Ruibang Technology have been put into production, 80 matching texturing machines have been present, and 50 have been installed and produced. It is expected that by the end of June this year, the first phase of the project and the supporting texturing machines will all be put into production.
At the same time, according to the announcement previously issued by Dongfang Shenghong, Ruibang Technology will also build a second-phase project with an annual output of 250,000 tons of recycled differentiated and functional polyester filaments and supporting texturing projects.
"After the production capacity of 500,000 tons is fully put into operation, it is equivalent to consuming 30 billion waste polyester bottles every year, which is a huge amount. We will strive to become a 'global core supplier of recycled fiber'." Kong Wenlong said.
In addition, in April 2021, Shenghong and the Ordos Municipal Government signed an investment agreement for the green new material circular economy industrial park project.
The project plans to produce methanol, downstream acetic acid, formaldehyde, acrylic acid, olefin, as well as a variety of high-end new materials and fine chemical products such as degradable materials and superabsorbent resins. The reporter learned that the planning land for the project has passed the relevant approval.
"In the context of the national 'double carbon' goal, Shenghong will more firmly promote transformation and development. We will use the bulk petrochemical raw materials of the refining and chemical integration project as a platform to comprehensively accelerate the transformation and form a core raw material platform plus new energy and new materials. , electronic chemistry, biotechnology and other diversified industrial chains '1+N' new pattern, to create a more competitive new Shenghong."
