On September 21, the 2023 Modern textile Industry Cluster high-quality Development Forum and 2023 National Textile Industry Cluster Work Conference hosted by the China Textile Industry Federation and the Anhui Provincial People's Government was held in Hefei. Taking Anqing City as an example, the textile and garment industry in Anqing started early, has a solid foundation, and has excellent endowment of factors such as manpower, talents, raw materials and markets. It has a relatively complete industrial chain and supply chain, and its industrial volume and quality rank among the forefront of the province. In 2022, there are more than 2,000 textile and garment enterprises, and the total industrial output value exceeds 50 billion yuan; Twelve enterprises were selected as the top 50 textile and garment enterprises in Anhui Province, accounting for nearly a quarter. With the deepening of the integration development of the Yangtze River Delta, Anhui has a good foundation to undertake the transfer of industrial projects in the pioneer region, and has become the preferred region to undertake the transfer of textile and garment industry in the pioneer region of the Yangtze River Delta. He said that he sincerely invited colleagues in the textile and garment industry across the country to actively pay attention to the development of Anhui's textile and garment industry and actively invest in Anhui. We sincerely look forward to working with our colleagues in the garment and textile industry all over the country to base ourselves on the new development stage, implement the new development concept, adhere to independent innovation, digital transformation, brand building and green development as the focus, speed up the shortcomings, promote the industry to extend to the high-end of the value chain, and build a modern textile and garment industry system. Promote the high-quality development of the textile and garment industry in "science and technology, fashion, and green", and make new and greater contributions to promoting the economic and social development of the province and actively serving the construction of a new development pattern across the country.

It is reported that this meeting with the theme of "innovation-driven digital intelligence empowerment", from the country's textile industry cluster pilot areas and business representatives, provincial and municipal association (business) leaders, key enterprises, professional markets, news media and other more than 300 people attended the meeting. During the meeting, activities such as keynote speeches, keynote reports, thematic dialogues, and conference announcements were also held, and on-site licenses were awarded to the new declaration cluster in 2023, the national SME public service demonstration platform, and the SME public service demonstration platform in the textile industry. Susong County of our city was awarded the title of "China's emerging textile Industry Base County", and Changling Town of Wangjiang County was awarded the title of "China's garment cotton Textile and Weaving Town".
