The main component of polypropylene fiber is polyethylene terephthalate, the mass fraction is about 99%, and the rest is ash, mainly TiO2, and its mass fraction is about 1%. In the filling, in order to ensure uniform filling of the polypropylene short fibers in the regenerator and uniform porosity, the polypropylene staple fiber needs to be pretreated. Before the test, the polypropylene short fibers were divided into several parts, and vacuum drying was carried out to remove the components such as moisture which may affect the performance of the regenerator, and processed into several micelle structures according to the specifications of the regenerator. After the filling is completed, a copper wire mesh is added to both ends of the regenerator.
