As one of the 2023 textile and garment "Better supply and upgrade" activities of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, on June 11, the textile industry Digital Transformation Summit (Xiajin) was held in Xiajin County, Dezhou City, Shandong Province. The leading guests, experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives at the meeting focused on the theme of "Building industrial digital intelligence ecology, creating a digital yarn base", deeply analyzed the current situation of digital transformation of China's textile industry, and discussed the road of digital transformation of the industry in the future. At the same time, it also introduced the development trend of new fibers and yarns in the textile industry, advanced technologies, equipment applications, and signed a series of digital transformation projects.

The conference was hosted by China Textile Industry Federation, China Textile Association Information Department, Shandong Textile and Garment Industry Association, Dezhou Textile and garment Industry Chain, Dezhou Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Xiajin County People's Government, China Textile Network Information Technology Co., LTD. More than 200 people from the national ministries, China Textile Federation, industry associations across the country and relevant leaders of local governments at all levels, experts, scholars and business representatives attended the meeting.

She pointed out that the current digital transformation has become the only way for the transformation and upgrading of the textile industry. Wang Xiao, a member of the Party group and deputy director of the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, said in his speech that Shandong has always been a large province of textile and garment, with a good industrial foundation and a complete system, playing a pivotal role in the country, and the cotton yarn production ranks first in the country. A total of 26 national textile and garment industrial clusters have been cultivated. Shandong Provincial Party Committee and provincial government attach great importance to the development of the textile and garment industry, which has been included in the province's top ten industries for the transformation of old and new kinetic energy. Dezhou is a textile city in Shandong Province, with a strong industrial foundation. Many outstanding enterprises and clusters such as Hengfeng Group, Huayuan Ecology and Xiazin Textile industry Cluster have emerged in Dezhou, becoming an influential differential spinning base in the country. Xiajin County has made every effort to build a new textile industry cluster and accelerate the digital transformation, which has reference significance in Shandong. In the future, Shandong will pour more resources into the textile industry, accelerate digital empowerment, promote industrial upgrading, and build the textile industry into a science and technology, fashion, and green industry.

The deputy director of the Textile Department of the Consumer Goods Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Rong Ruilong, affirmed the digital transformation of the textile industry and Xiajin textile industry. He believes that in recent years, China has vigorously promoted the digital and intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry, and the work has made great progress, among which the textile industry is at the forefront. In view of the application of digital and intelligent development of the industry and the existing problems, he pointed out that we must keep up with the trend of technological development, base on the actual situation of the industry, strengthen overall planning, and continue to promote the digital and intelligent transformation of the textile industry to improve the quality and efficiency of development.

He said that the Consumer Goods Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will implement the "Digital Help consumer goods industry" action plan (2022-2025) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other five departments, adhere to the main direction of digital transformation and intelligent development, based on the actual situation of China's textile, consolidate the foundation, improve standards, cultivate ecology, and strengthen applications. Together with the entire textile industry, accelerate the creation of the digital intelligent transformation of the textile industry "upgraded version". First, the development of digital intelligent industrial software and production equipment; The second is to reconstruct the enterprise with digital intelligent process equipment; Third, build a digital and intelligent innovation carrier and service platform.

In his speech, Xiaomin, Secretary-General of China Textile Industry Federation, introduced the achievements, problems and future development priorities of the industry in digital transformation. DST Min said that in recent years, the industry's two integration indicators have steadily improved. As of December 2022, the overall development level evaluation index of the integration of the textile industry has reached 57.1, the digitalization rate of production equipment has reached 55.6%, the connection rate of digital production equipment has reached 49%, and the readiness rate of intelligent manufacturing has reached 14.6%. In the process of digital transformation, there are problems such as strategic awareness, data security risks, internal data silos, digital capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises, and lack of professional talents.

For the needs of the digital transformation of the industry, daylight Min put forward five requirements: First, the digital development of textile enterprises should be laid out from a strategic height, focusing on the long-term development of enterprises and the promotion of core competitiveness planning to promote the digital process. The second is to pay special attention to the digital transformation of the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises, if there is no improvement in the digital ability of the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises, the digital level of the whole industry can not reach the due height, and the digital transformation of the industry is difficult to achieve. Third, we should pay special attention to the implementation of enterprise digital results. Can not put a flower, can not blindly pursue tall. Fourth, we will strengthen digital public services for industries. Build a public service platform for digital transformation of the industry, realize the accumulation of digital transformation resources, and provide services required by the industry; Carry out digital transformation diagnostic consulting, solution application promotion, standard promotion, training and other services. Fifth, enhance industry data service capabilities.
