The theme of 2022 "New Long Parade Cup" National Green Denim Creative Works Competition is "Aquatic Everything Indigo Future", which aims to reflect the ecological sustainable development concept of future denim industry through the deep integration of science and technology, culture, art and fashion, and show the design creative inspiration of denim masters and environmental protection and clean processing technology.

Last December, Yudu County held the first "New Long March Cup" National Green Cowboy creative Works competition finals, this year is the second time to hold the event. Since the first round of notice was issued on June 11 this year, relevant people from industrial clusters across the country have actively participated in creative production, and nearly 300 creative works have been shortlisted for the preliminary competition. The preliminary competition was held in Yudu Denim Industry Research Institute of Wuhan Textile University. 50 excellent works were selected to enter the final, and the online public evaluation was conducted for 8 days.

The final will be a model runway show, and the judges will score the works according to their fashion, design concept and environmental technology. The final results were obtained by adding the scores of the preliminary competition, the scores of the online voting and the scores of the live show of the final works. After fierce competition, the first, second and third prizes, the excellent award and the "Future Star" awards were awarded. The competition is held, not only to show the fashion and beauty of the design concept, but also reflect the environmental technology, promote the future denim industry green development process.

In recent years, Yudu County has focused on the brand of "Fashion Capital", and has always adhered to the first textile and apparel industry. The industrial development has been "small scattered" to "cluster", showing a good trend of "strong momentum, complete platform, fast transformation and full momentum". At present, more than 3000 textile and garment enterprises have gathered in Yudu, with the output value of the whole industry exceeding 60 billion yuan. Among them, the rapid development of the denim industry, there are more than 300 denim enterprises, the annual output of denim clothing 50 million, boosting the high-quality development of the textile and apparel industry in Yudu County.
