Industry insiders told reporters that due to the low threshold of access to renewable polyester fiber, the number of enterprises, large industry scale, fierce market competition, some enterprises by profit, to the native fiber products with the label of renewable polyester fiber, it will be sold as recycled polyester fiber in the market.

The person revealed that after the label of recycled polyester fiber is affixed to the raw fiber, the market price can rise by 1000-2000 yuan per ton, and some can even be as high as 6000-7000 yuan per ton. An official with the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association said that although China has a complete recycled polyester fiber industry ecological chain, it lacks a renewable traceability system and a credible certification system. In January this year, under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the trust system of China's recycled textile industry -- Green Fiber Products Trust Platform (STCP) was officially published online. The platform is jointly operated by the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association and the National Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center.

Cao Xiuyu, head of the platform operation of the National Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center, introduced that the trusted platform of green fiber products provides lightweight applications for bottle chip factories, slicing factories, yarn factories and other upstream and downstream of the whole industrial chain through the national secondary node analysis technology, blockchain technology, supply chain traceability system and other information means. Digital transformation and upgrading of the whole industrial chain from fiber to terminal products and online trading can be realized, and production data, storage data, logistics data and trading data can be credibly connected to the chain, so as to realize transparent data connection of procurement, raw material input and export, production consumption, invoice and other information.

According to the introduction, from 2022 to 2023, the platform will carry out external expansion and connotation extension, continue to improve the platform function, expand the platform service content, gradually deepen through the digital trusted transformation, improve the digital trusted solution through the top-level design, and realize the trusted access of the industrial chain. Predicts 2024, the platform will assign to digital transformation and upgrading of the whole industry chain, extend the platform value, create benefit, and participate in the custom rules of the industry, to create China's own transparent, traceability, reliable platform for the certification, maintaining the order of green fiber, green textiles market, will eventually platform into an international first-class certification.
